Easy Like Sunday Morning

I was finally awake at an appropriate time to call Dad today. I woke up at 5:30am with a burning urge to tidy, and spent an hour scrubbing away in the bathroom and unpacking the previous day's Carrefour purchases before calling home.

As you can see, my new room is pretty spartan, but it's clean and comfortable.



The little kitchen is also something short of spectacular.

I'll have the internet and a phoneline installed in the next couple of days and am currently figuring out the best way to watch DVDs given the crapitude of my laptop and the current location of the telly and aerial.

I'll spend today buying some more essentials and doing some touristy things - checking out the river, some Russian churches, and a French cafe. I also desperately need a map. Harbin's roads are not laid out very regularly and I have yet to get my bearings. So far I've found University from the flat more by luck than anything else.
